I have graduated and taken a job with HP Labs.

The Connections user study is now over.

I hope to release a search tool based on this work for public use in the near future.

Current Project

Connections -- a context-enhanced search tool. This work gathers context information from traces of user behavior and uses it to enhance traditional content-based search tools.

Automated attribute assignment -- finding new ways of assigning attributes to files to automate file organization, management, and searching. Click here to install my Mozilla tracker Obzerver for Firefox 1.5.0.4, part of the Uzilla project.

Previous Projects

S4 -- an implementation of a self-securing storage device. My focus is on the design and implementation of the internal versioning system.

k42 -- an object-oriented micro kernel. My focus is on creating a generic object swapping an interposition system to increase system flexibility.
